An initiative with a mission: To create art from wire snares

Snares to Wares is a human heritage-centred conservation initiative, dedicated to improving human livelihoods and protecting wildlife in and around Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda. We do this by empowering local community artisans to repurpose wire snares into sculptures of wildlife that are vulnerable to poaching.
